RULES
A Royal Challenge Awaits…
Step into a world of tiered temptations and timeless tradition as The Biscuits & Jampionship™ returns in 2025
to the World Food Championships, serving up elegance, creativity, and your very best jam!
This year’s challenge is steeped in charm and stacked in sophistication as competitors will present a show-stopping, three-tier tea party spread.
Judges will evaluate:
• Culinary excellence and creativity
• Presentation worthy of a palace
• Cohesion between the bites and the brew
• And of course, the bold, beautiful use of jam—whether sweet or savory
THE TITLE AT STAKE:
King or Queen of The Biscuits & Jampionship™ of 2025.
This competition is not just a celebration of biscuits— it’s a love letter to preserving tradition with a spoonful of flair.
Whether you’re baking from heirloom wisdom or jamming with innovation, this is your stage to shine.
So, don your aprons, steep your tea, and prepare your tiered towers of wonder—it’s teatime, darlings, and the crown awaits.
This is your moment to let the fruit speak, the sugar sing, and your legacy shine.
How to Enter:
Round 1:
Submit the following by Sept 5, 2025:
Required items:
1) Two (2) jars of your properly canned jam in a Fillmore Container Jar of your choice.
Jars must be new and properly sealed. Keep your jam to bring with you in Oct.
Jars can be purchased at www.fillmorecontainer.com
2) Pomona Pectin must be used in your jam recipe.
Pectin can be purchased at www.pomonapectin.com
The Pomona website will also give
you recipes and tips so you can learn how to properly incorporate their pectin into your recipe.
3) Jars must be labeled on the bottom with your name and flavor. No other identifying marks should be made on the jars.
4)Receipts from purchases of all required items must be mailed in with your jam entry.
5) Entries must be received by September 5th, 2025.

You will receive an email confirmation from Donna within 24 hours of your entry being received.
6) What’s at stake:
•A spot at the 2025 World Biscuits & Jampionship™ live finals (Saturday, October 18th)
•Recognition on the Jelly Queens website and social media
•Bragging rights
•And a spoonful closer to the crown!
7)Finalists will be notified of their advancement on September 15th
So ready your jars, polish your ladles and get cooking!
Round 2
Live Cooking at WFC Oct 18, 2025 9am – 11am
This is a lively, fun competition. Competitors are encouraged to dress up to match the tea party theme.
Prizes:
1st Place: $2,200 in cash
2nd Place: $500 in cash
3rd Place: $300 in cash
You do not have to be registered to compete at WFC’s Main Event to enter this contest.
Open to all ages.
1) Competitors may have 1 sous chef
2) Your tea party may represent tea from any culture, as tea is served worldwide and includes different flavor profiles for each country
3) One 3 tier tea stand will be provided to each competitor
4) Each competitor must complete a minimum of 4 each of the following:
• 4 Savory Tea Sandwiches – any flavor
• 4 Scones – any flavor served with your jam
• 4 Sweets – any flavor
• 4 cups of tea paired with your presentation designed to enhance and harmonize with the flavors across all three tiers.
5) Competitors must provide 4 teacups and teapot
6) Tea sandwiches and sweets must be created on site from new unopened packaging
7) Scones are required to be baked on site – they are the star of the challenge
8) Sweets may be constructed from store bought ingredients or made from scratch.
Example: Angel food cake from a store, fresh fruit, pudding and whipped cream made on site to create a Trifle.
9) 3 tier tea stands must be loaded as follow:
Savories - bottom
Scones - middle
Sweets - top
10) your chosen tea is to be properly steeped and served in a teapot and served with teacups on WFC presentation platters
11)Competitors will make a presentation to the judges, explaining their tea party
Four esteemed judges will sip and savor as they assess not only taste and technique, but the ability to create a mini tea party worthy of royalty.
12) Top 10 finalists will be required to make one social media post between Sept 15 and October 15, 2025, thanking sponsors.
The Jelly Queens must be tagged.
13) Top 3 winners are required to make 1 post from Oct 20th – December 30th, 2025, showing their finished dish and thanking all sponsors.
The Jelly Queens must be tagged.
The Jelly Queens will provide competitors with all photos taken at the event.
14) Not thanking our sponsors in a timely manner is grounds for disqualification and loss of prizes.
