A Little Background: Nothing Matches, But Everything Is Loved
Welcome to tea at The Jelly Queen’s Table — where every cup has a story and every plate carries a memory. You may notice that nothing on the table quite matches… and that’s exactly how we like it.
Much of the china used at our tea parties have been lovingly passed down through three generations of teacup-clinking women — grandmothers, mothers, and daughters who believed a cup of tea could soothe most anything. And then there’s the magic: after a single Facebook post asking if anyone had old china for sale, boxes began to appear, almost daily, at the doorstep of my jelly shop. Each one came with a handwritten note, a bit of kindness, and a treasure inside. That’s how this collection grew — not with matching sets, but with stories, generosity, and charm.
So no, nothing here matches. But everything is loved.
All our tea parties are private events. We are not a restaurant. We are a group of friends who just love to gather and have tea.
